Krista Sontum - Teacher

Krista Sontum was born in Portland, OR. At the age of eight she moved with her family to White Rock, B.C. Canada. When she was 12 she and her family then moved to Wheaton, IL. They lived there for a little over a year and then moved to Sandy, UT where she has lived ever since.

Krista is married and has a dog, “Indiana”, two cats, “Bela” and “Karloff”, and a horse, “Bonnie”. She loves riding her horse, hiking and camping with her husband, and watching movies.

This is Krista’s first year teaching a Cyprus High School. She attended the University of Utah College of Nursing and is a Registered Nurse. Krista loves teaching about health care and is excited to be a part of Cyprus’ School of Health Careers.
