Ember Storrs - Teacher

Ember Storrs is an alumnus of Cyprus High School (1988), Brockbank Middle School and Orchard Elementary.  She received her Bachelor’s degree from BYU in 1991 and her Master’s degree from the University of Utah in 1997.

She taught one year at Orem High School and then moved to Cyprus in 1992.  She is the oldest of 8 children and has taught 5 of her siblings and many of the children that she used to baby-sit.  She loves teaching in the neighborhood she grew up in and hopes to stay until retirement.

Ember Eskelson Storrs married Ken Storrs in April 1991 and is now known as “Ms.” Storrs because Mrs. requires too many “S’s” when you try to say it. 

She has had 4 beautiful children, 2 boys and 2 girls and spends a great deal of time playing with them around the house and at their Bear Lake cabin.  She loves anything crafty, playing volleyball, and baking any type of treats.  She is a technology freak and is attached to her computer 24/7.

Don’t be surprised to find her dancing, singing, making crafts, folding origami, eating math manipulatives, dressing up and building mathematics in her classroom.  A lot of unusual stuff happens in Ms. Storrs’ room in order to learn mathematics.  She loves her students and spends a great deal of time on them.
