Erin Tanner - Teacher

Ms. Tanner was born and raised in Holladay, Utah. She attended Olympus High School where she played both basketball and volleyball. She continued her athletics in college, playing both basketball and volleyball at Snow College and basketball at Southern Utah University. She graduated from SUU with a B.A. in History. After graduating, Ms. Tanner taught at Mount Vernon Academy for 1 year and then went to West Desert and taught for 3 years at the smallest school in Utah (there were 50 students 7-12 grade…). After realizing that she liked the city and civilization, Ms. Tanner moved back to the city and began her teaching duties at Cyprus High. This year is her 9th year teaching at Cyprus. Ms. Tanner teaches American History, AVID and Peer Tutoring (A.L.L.) She also coaches volleyball. Ms. Tanner recently just received her Master’s degree in Education from Lesley University. (2007)

On her spare time, Ms. Tanner reads, plays on the computer, or crafts. Ms. Tanner also has a bunch of nieces and nephews that she loves spending time with and spoiling them.
