Larae Thomas was born and raised in the beautiful town of Durango Colorado where she was voted best laugh of her high school graduating class. She attended several colleges, beginning at Fort Lewis College (Durango Colorado) and including BYU, San Juan College (Farmington New Mexico), and the University of Utah. She graduated from the U of U with a bachelor's degree in Family and Consumer Studies and completed a master's degree in Educational Psychology. She has one daughter currently attending Salt Lake Community College, one pug and two cats. In her spare time she likes to walk the dog, read, cross-stitch, and play the piano.
