Cost is $45 per .25 credit or $70 per .50 credit.  Times posted for class will be Monday through Thursday from 2:15 - 3:50.  Students may attend as their schedule permits, but must remain in class for a minimum of one hour.  Students must complete work in class.  The classes are coordinated by Mrs. Brian in room 319 and Mr. Neilson in room 317.  *This credit WILL NOT satisfy NCAA eligibility center requirements.

Electronic High School - (Original and/or make up credit)  Students can enroll in EHS as they attend regular high school. They can move in or out, according to their needs. High school credit will be available and a wide variety of classes are offered.  There is no cost for the classes, but purchasing a textbook may be required.  After completing all assigned work, students will be required to take a final exam with a testing proctor to demonstrate mastery.  These testing proctors are available at several locations including the Granite School District Testing Center and the Magna Library.

BYU Independent Study - (Original and/or make up credit)  Information may be obtained from the counselors about BYU Independent Study. The cost for tuition is approximately $121.00 per 1/2 credit and $76.00 per 1/4 credit plus materials. All costs are subject to change without notice. Students may register over the phone at 800-914-8931 6am to 9pm MST, online at http://elearn.byu.edu, or by mail at BYU Independent Study, 230 Harman Continuing Education Building, Provo, UT, 84602.  Visit their link above for a course catalog and description of courses.

Demonstrated Competency Assessment - These assessments are designed for students who come to school already prepared with the knowledge and skills they would otherwise gain through coursework.  Students earn .50 credit for semester courses and 1.0 credit for full year courses.  If a student demonstrates competency, a "P" will be recorded (no letter grades are awarded).  Students submit a written request for the assessments to their school counselor. The school counselor calls or emails the Granite School District Testing Center to notify them of the student's test authorization.  This must be done 15 days prior to the time of the test.  A non-refundable fee of $85 is charged for each assessment.  A minimum of 30 days is required for reporting of scores.  The testing center is open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11:00am to 5:00pm. *This credit WILL NOT satisfy NCAA eligibility center requirements. http://www.schools.utah.gov/curr/main/graduation/Competancy_Measurements/index.htm

*If you are attempting to play Division I or II collegiate athletics, these courses will not be accepted by the NCAA eligibility center.
