Hunter High Community Council - Minutes for Meeting April 14th, 2008

Meeting held in Conference Room- 6:00 p.m.

In Attendance:

Administration Rep. - Ike Spencer

Faculty Rep. - Carl Sundell, Stan Taylor, Jeff Sillito, Jo Thompson

Parent Rep. - Sara Justet, Caylinn Rowley, Sheryl Nay and Angela Wilson

1) Welcome - Carl Sundell

2) Minutes accepted

3) Land Trust Balance reviewed. Balance approx. $17,397.30

4) Land Trust Proposals presented:

a) Microwave - Earl Coombs (Science Dept.) - $109.00 (passed)
b) Individual White Boards - Michelle Walker (Home Ec. Center) - $98.84 (passed)
c) Visual Presenter - Bolland and Spencer (Science Dept) - $1,575.00 (passed)
d) 2 Subs for 2 days - Sonne and Oaks (P.E. and Social Studies Dept) - $200.00 (passed)
e) Constitutional Government Seminar - Jim Brusatto (Social Studies Dept.) - $100.00 (passed)
f) American History Worshop - Jim Brusatto (Social Studies Dept) - $600.00 (passed)

5) New laws concerning Community Council. We are already abiding by most of the Legislative bills concerning Community Council. Discussed changes and they will be incorporated.

6) Ike Spencer announced new football coach, Dustin Pearce.

7) The meeting adjourned at 6:30 p.m.

8) Next meeting to be held on May 12th, at 6:00 p.m @ Famous Dave's in Jordan Landing. New members of the Community Council will be invited to attend.
