Building Committee Meeting

In attendance:  Linda Farr, Nellie Christensen, Anne Quigley, Scott Watson, Devon Hartley

  1. Students CANNOT paint lines in faculty parking lot.  We are on the district’s list to have this done.
  1. Do we still have “Good news from Hunter High” postcards?  Yes, Devon has them.
  1. Could Jostens conduct business and prom pictures be handed out after school instead of at lunchtime?  This would not be practical because we want to get the students out of the school as fast as we can at the end of the day.  Also, the students who ride the bus would not be able to take care of business after school.
  1. Faculty should show more respect to the presenters at faculty meeting.  It is just plain rude to talk when someone is presenting.  Teachers, you would not allow this behavior in your own classrooms, please do not contribute to it here.
  1. Could we have at lease one computer lab available during testing?  We do have a mobile lab that was made available during testing.  Rich sent out at least two emails informing the staff of it’s availability but only 2 teachers expressed interest.  It was suggested that the digital photography classes (who have been the main users of the mobile lab) be scheduled to use the business labs thereby freeing up the mobile lab during those periods.

This was our last meeting of the year and we would like to thank all of you for your suggestions.  We have seen some good things happen as a result of those suggestions.
