- Hunter High School has 95 teachers, 7 counselors, 8 secretaries, and 30 custodial, cafeteria and aids/trackers to assist in the education of students. Faculty page
Student Enrollment
- Hunter High School has an enrollment of approximately 2100 students made up of a rich mixture of culturally diverse backgrounds. Class sizes average 31.5 students per class due to the eight-period schedule program. Honors, advanced placement and vocational skills classes are in the range of 20-30 students.

- Hunter High School is accredited by the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges.
Curriculum
- Our curriculum is set up to meet the needs of the academic, college bound student with AP programs in all academic areas as well as art and music. We offer many concurrent enrollment college courses. Along with this, we have occupational skills level programs in technical education, business, health occupations and home economics.
School Background
Hunter High School is a large urban high school located on the west side of the Salt Lake Valley serving grades 10-12. It opened for students for the 1990-91 school year. The boundaries run approximately from 3500 to 4700 South and 4400 to 6200 West.
