About Us

Work-Based Learning Specialist/Student Intern Advisor

Sue Christensen can help you find an internship that interests you. Whether it’s working in Insurance, Photography, or the Medical Field there is a place for you to learn valuable skills and earn credit while you attend. Internships are a non-paid learning experience. Sue can also set up a short Job Shadow to see if your field of interest is the right choice. There are also exciting Seminars to observe. Sue also sets up guest speakers and field trips for student K – 12. Sue is available from 9:00 – 3:00 Monday – Friday in room 113.

Employment Specialist

Cher Burbanka and Anna Evertsz provide opportunities to Resource and At Risk students that support movement toward a successful transition into the ‘real world’. We assist in finding jobs, how to fill out applications correctly, how to have a successful interview and can help type a resume. Cher and Anna also work on career exploration social skills and teach mini lessons. Counselors and resource teachers, please send your referrals. Office hours are from 8:30 – 2:30 Monday – Friday in room 113.
