TRAVEL TO AND FROM GAMES

All members of the Olympus High School Football teams are expected to travel with the team to and from all games. As representatives of the school, the coaching staff has a responsibility for the well being of each member of the team. We also use the time for pre game and post game meetings and as opportunities after games to reaffirm the training rules. We appreciate your helping the coaching staff to enforce this policy because it is in the best interest of our players.

Parents who have no alternative but to seek an exception to the policy are asked to contact the school's head football coach at least one week prior to the game in question.

TRAVELING POLICY

All behavior on trips is to be of a nature that reflects well on the school, team, and individual. We are a first class football program.

  1. Be on time, as the bus will leave on time.
  2. DRESS CODE WILL BE ENFORCED! Appropriate dress should be worn at all times when we travel. Game jerseys or ties are to be worn on game day as specified by the coach.
  3. There will be no music or loud talking on the bus. We want concentration.
  4. No individual leaves the group without the head coach's permission.
  5. All players will return home with the team. Exceptions are sometimes made for extenuating circumstances as requested by the parents, but only with the head coach's permission, along with written permission from the principal or athletic director.
