General Testing Information
Be sure to take the ACT/SAT in April or June of your junior year so that you can take it again in the October of your senior year. Because admissions considers only your highest composite scores, you should consider taking the ACT/SAT multiple times. Studies show that students who retake the ACT/SAT have a 55 percent chance of increasing their previous score by 1 to 3 points. Those points may not seem like much, but they could make all the difference when it comes time to apply for admission and scholarships.

Other ACT Test Review Options
PLAN - "Pre-ACT Test"
The PLAN test is offered at Olympus High during the fall of the tenth grade.
The PLAN is a curriculum-based test that is similar to the ACT Assessment. It is a good predictor
of a future ACT score.
Residual Testing for the ACT
An on-campus or residual testing program is provided for ACT-participating colleges to administer the ACT to enrolled or admitted students who were unable to test on a national test date.
How It Works:
Results are reported only to the college administering the test.
No Student Reports or High School Reports are generated, and no Additional Score Reports will be generated to report scores to any other institution.
Testing can be conducted on any date except an ACT national test date.
Students may not repeat residual testing until 60 days have passed since their previous testing.
