
Community Education - Summer and Night School
-Counselors may approve specific subjects that were failed for make up credit: .25 credit requires 36 class hours and a $40 fee, .50 credit requires 72 hours and a $60 fee. During the school year classes may be taken at Olympus community Education. During the summer they may be taken at Granite or Cottonwood.

-Counselors may approve home study at Central High School. Appointments are made once each term. The cost is $40 per .25 credit. Attendance of one hour per week is required. Students with more than two absences per term will be dropped. Homework and tests must have a score of 80% or better for credit to be awarded. Work must be completed in the quarter during which the student is registered.
-Counselors may approve BYU Independent Study. Register for classes by phone, mail or over the internet. Course lists are available in the Counseling Center.

Courses in the Electronic High School are free to Utah students. Some courses require a textbook or other course materials which student must acquire. If any book or materials are required for a course, that information is clearly posted on the information page for the class.
Enrollment Requirements:
Students who wish to enroll need to meet with their counselor and make sure the courses they wish to take are acceptable for graduation and that the student is eligible to take EHS courses.
A student in EHS must have access to the World Wide Web and have familiarity with either Netscape or Microsoft Internet Explorer.
A student must have an active email account.
A student must be motivated enough to work on his/her own with minimum supervision.
Enrolling with the Electronic High School is a two-step process. A student must first register with the Electronic high School to receive a user name and password; then the student can enroll in one or more of the classes.
