Vocational Biographies allows students to career-shadow 875 real people in this collection. They can read, in story form, about the likes and dislikes of real workers, the paths they have taken to get into their occupations, what their working world is like.

 

OCCUPATIONAL GUIDANCE has detailed information for over 1000 different occupations.

 

Choices 2005 is computer program with large date base of information about hundreds of occupations that cross connects with schools and training information.

The OccupationalOutlook Handbook, produced by the U.S. Dept. of Labor, is great for finding out what the future holds for various occupations. In addition, each occupation's nature of work, working conditions, training and education requirements, earnings, and related occupations are given in detail.
