Steve Marsing is Skyline’s new assistant principal. He has been happily married to Sue Beck Marsing for 29 years and has four children—3 boys and a girl. Mr. Marsing, who graduated from Kearns High in 1975, received a Bachelor’s from the U and Master’s of Education from the Y.
From 1980 to 1990, Mr. Marsing served as the head swimming and water polo coach at Skyline. While he is very excited to return to Skyline as an administrator, Mr. Marsing is even more thrilled to share his enthusiasm—not just within classes and swimming, but the whole school.

- Head Swimming & Water Polo Coach at Hunter HS for 16 years (1990-2006)
- Men and Women’s Tennis coach at Hunter HS for 3 years.
- USA age group swim coach and swim instructor for 31 years
- Currently serving as the UIAAA President
- Certified Athletic Administrator (CAA)

- Section 7 Men’s swimming coach of the year 1999
- National Women’s swimming coach of the year 2000
