WHY SHOULD YOU PARTICIPATE IN DEBATE?
Taking stupid classes and doing nothing? You will become the roadkill on the highway of natural selection. Debate Team is a good way to escape from the future of nothing more than a barren expanse of minimum wage paying jobs. Or you can just choose to join the Marine Corps instead and not rot in a cubicle for the rest of your life. But then again, you won't be as rich, therefore your life won't be as complete. By the way, you win awards for arguing! You find yourself picking an argument anywhere you go. No pun intended.
Debate classes and activities with Ms. Roberts are serious and hard. Mrs. Roberts is cool. If you survive debate, colleges are going to love it.
