.Officer Cottam came to Taylorsville High in 2006. He is a very nice person who is conscientious in his duty and relates very well with students. He has been a police officer since 1996 and has worked in several positions over his career. He started working patrol detail, next worked in the gang unit, and was then on the Salt Lake County Sherriff’s Office S.W.A.T. team for over 6 years. He came to the Taylorsville Police Department in April 2005 and was assigned to the Investigations Unit where he worked on homicides and robberies. He is currently the leader of the Taylorsville Police S.W.A.T. Team. Officer Cottam serves as the school resource officer.

 

chnology Specialist. He manages the school library, manages all technology in the building and teaches Televison Broadcasting. What students like best about him is his great sense of humor and his ability to make everyone feel important.
