.Mr. Haslam received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Education at Southern Utah State College . He taught weight training and driver's education at Hillcrest, East, and Hunter High. He then earned his Master of Education degree at the University of Phoenix in Educational Counseling and became a counselor at Hunter High. He received his Administrative Certificate from Utah State University and came to Taylorsville High as an assistant principal in 2000. He was appointed principal of Taylorsville in 2003. Faculty and students enjoy working under him beacuse he is well organized, has a great grasp of the educational system, and is fair and kind to all.
