.Mr. Horton came to Taylorsville High in 2005 as an Assistant Principal. His friendly smile, his even temperament, and his loyalty to the welfare of students have earned him respect as an administrator and as a friend to teachers, students, and parents alike. He received a Bachelors Degree from the University of Utah and a Masters of Education from the University of Phoenix. He also earned an Administrative Certificate from the University of Utah. Mr. Horton previously taught Spanish for 11 years and was a swim and water polo coach for 15 years. He is married and has 4 children. He loves to read, fish, backpack, and spend time with his family.
