Mr. Jensen came to Taylorsville High in 1984. He is a great musician and his students affectionately call him “Doc.” He is originally from Parowan, a small town in southern Utah. His bachelors degree is from Southern Utah University in Cedar City and he has done graduate work at both B.Y.U. and the U. of U. He loves to perform and he plays keyboards, guitar and bass. He sings tenor and is active in community theater both on the stage and in the orchestra pit. ahe is also an assistant conductor with the Granite Youth Symphony Orchestra which meets weekly at THS. Mr. Jensen loves to read, especially science fiction and fantasy. He and his wife Ruthanna have seven children, six of whom have graduated from Taylorsville High. He also has six grandchildren.

 

chnology Specialist. He manages the school library, manages all technology in the building and teaches Televison Broadcasting. What students like best about him is his great sense of humor and his ability to make everyone feel important.
