Theatre Foundations I-II (grades 9-12) - Semester/Year (1995)
This course emphasizes advanced speech techniques and oral presentation. Students are exposed to characterization, acting techniques and stage production while learning to appreciate the stage and developing interpersonal communication skills. The reading of plays and the history of the theatre are included. This class is a prerequisite for all other drama courses.


Theatre Foundations III (grades 10-12) – Year (1996)
This course gives students further training in advanced characterization, the dramatic arts and provides experience in one-act, and threeact plays. Prerequisite: Theatre 1-2 (1995).


Theatre Foundations IV (grades 11-12) – Year (1997)
This course gives students advanced training in the dramatic arts and provides additional experience in one-act and three-act plays,
advanced characterization, direction of plays and voluntary contest work. Prerequisite: Teacher approval.


French 1 (grades 9-12) – Year (3110)
Emphasis is placed on listening and speaking skills though reading and writing are addressed. This course provides for the learning of dialogues, common words and expressions and basic language structure as well as oral practice of the language in skits, poetry, dialogues, and readings.
