Mr. Schmid came to teach at Taylorsville in 2000, but he is also an alumni from the Taylorsville High Class of 1989. His students say that he has incredible creativity and energy. Mr Schmid graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree in Theater Arts and French Education. Before coming to Taylorsville he taught at East High and the Las Vegas Academy of International Studies and Performing and Visual Arts.

In addition to performing and directing, Mr. Schmid enjoys gardening and spending time with his wife and 3 children. He says that he is thrilled to be a part of the Taylorsville High faculty because he is teaching with the best.

 

chnology Specialist. He manages the school library, manages all technology in the building and teaches Televison Broadcasting. What students like best about him is his great sense of humor and his ability to make everyone feel important.
