Mrs. Tarrant came to Taylorsville in 1998. Taylorsville High is renown for its superb vocal music program and Mrs. Tarrant is the reason why. She received her Associates Degree from Ricks College, her Bachelors Degree form Utah State, and will receive her Masters in Music Education from Brigham Young University in 2007. She received KSL Teacher Feature in January 2005and the Sallie Mae teaching award in 1997 for being an outstanding 1st year teacher.
Mrs. Tarrant is a member of the Utah Music Educators Association Choral Committee and the American Choral Directors Association. She co-chaired the UMEA Honor Choir from 2000-2006. She is an adjunct faculty member at Salt Lake Community College and the vocal director of Taylorsville High’s school musicals. And, best of all, she sings like an angel!

 

chnology Specialist. He manages the school library, manages all technology in the building and teaches Televison Broadcasting. What students like best about him is his great sense of humor and his ability to make everyone feel important.
