                                                                                                                                                                                   Dear Parents/Guardians:

 

Welcome to the 2007-2008 basketball season.  I’ve been looking forward to this day for a very long time.  I plan on giving your son my best effort as his coach.  Together we will have a positive enjoyable experience achieving our personal and team goals.

 

Our try-outs start Monday, November 5th, from 2:30-4:30.  Parents are welcome to watch try-outs as long as your son is ok with it.  During please don’t instruct your son, it may conflict with the coach’s instructions.  Please don’t distract the players.  Also see Taylorsville Boys Basketball Expectations in the following pages.

 

I invite you to attend an inter-squad scrimmage at 6:00 p.m. followed by a parents meeting on Friday November 16th  at 7:30 p.m.  I will review my expectations at the meeting and answer any questions you might have. 

 

If you should have any questions in regard to our present basketball program, please do not hesitate to call me.  Remember, we must work together as a team, a team of coaches, players and parents, if we wish to experience the success in basketball.  It is my honor and privilege to have this opportunity to coach your son.
