Dr. Whitaker has been the Director of the Career Center at Taylorsville since 1993. She has also been a counselor at Cyprus High and a Spanish and German Teacher. She has two Masters Degrees one in Education and one in Educational Psychology and a Ph.D. She serves on the Executive Committee for the Utah Association for Carrer and Technical Education (UACTE). She loves to travel and enjoys meeting people from different countries and different cultures.

Dr. Whaitaker is incharge of all Applied Technology Programs at Taylorsville. She also supervizes the concurrent college classes, scholarships and college applications, and career preparation. She serves as a liason to military and college recruiting personnel. She is also responsible to ensure that all students know how to operate E-Choices on the computer. Students have found that Dr. Whitaker has a wealth of knowlegde and endless contacts and connections to help students get where they want to go in the college and career world.

 

chnology Specialist. He manages the school library, manages all technology in the building and teaches Televison Broadcasting. What students like best about him is his great sense of humor and his ability to make everyone feel important.
