.Mr. Leatherwood came to Taylorsville High School when it opened in 1981. He has a “can do” attitude and a big heart that makes him perfectly patient for teaching young, would-be drivers. He earned a Bachelors Degree from Souther Utah University and a Masters Degree from B.Y.U. Before coming to Taylorsville High he taught at West Lake and Churchill Junior Highs. Mr. Leatherwood has coached volleyball, track, wrestling, baseball, football, golf and basketball. He was head basketball coach at Taylorsville High from 1981 to 1992. He is currently the Athletic Director and the Drivers Education Department Chairman.

 

chnology Specialist. He manages the school library, manages all technology in the building and teaches Televison Broadcasting. What students like best about him is his great sense of humor and his ability to make everyone feel important.
