.Mrs. VanGesen came to Taylorsville High in 2006. Her students say that she is very fair and non-judgmental. That makes her a well balanced and open-minded debate coach. She graudated from Southern Utah University with a Bachelors Degree in Communications and Political Science. Before coming to Taylorsville, she taught at Kearns High for 5 years and spent time at home with her young children.

Mrs. Vangesen has been involved with debate for 16 years and she loves it. She feels that debate is for all types of students and provides a niche for those students that might not fit in elsewhere.

 

chnology Specialist. He manages the school library, manages all technology in the building and teaches Televison Broadcasting. What students like best about him is his great sense of humor and his ability to make everyone feel important.
