Mrs. Hancey came to Taylorsville High in 1988. Her students like the fact the she is so accepting of all kinds of students and willing to help them work on what they want to create and achieve. She graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor’s Degree in Home Economics Deposit. She received a Masters Degree from BYU in Home Economics Education with an emphasis in clothing and textiles. Before coming to Taylorsville High, she taught at Cottonwood High .Mrs. Hancey is on the faculty Social Committee and helps with the Senior Honors Banquet. When she gets a chance, she likes to sew, quilt, travel, and design fashions. She has inspired 2 of her own children to study fashion design in college.

chnology Specialist. He manages the school library, manages all technology in the building and teaches Televison Broadcasting. What students like best about him is his great sense of humor and his ability to make everyone feel important.
