Mrs. Katsilas supervises the Advanced Interior Design Class, where she and her students design and decorate a home in the District CTE Home Show each year. For the past 22 years, Christine has had a class tradition of decorating and donating a beautiful Christmas tree to the Festival of Trees and the THS Warrior Woods program.

Mrs. Katsilas is the Taylorsville High FCCLA advisor, as well as the district advisor. She serves on the Warrior Way committee by making the 4.0 certificates.

Mrs. Katsilas loves listening to the Harry Potter Series, flower gardening, interior decorating and home canning. She is a fishing enthusiast who loves to catch trout. She has a real talent for making decorative displays, which adorn her classroom from time to time. They lend an air of creativity and beauty to the students' overall learning experience.
