


Mrs. Taney has served as the Taylorsville High librarian since 20000. She maintains a beautiful library and makes people happy with her attention to the needs of each individual she serves. She earned a bachelors degree and teaching certificate from Brigham Young University. She is a lifelong resident of the community of Taylorsville. She has lived on the same street her whole life. Her volunteer responsibilities include chair of the Taylorsville Bennion Heritage Center and organist/pianist for community gatherings. She has served as PTA President of Plymouth Elementary and Taylorsville High. She and her husband have been very active in the 4-H program. They received the Exchange Club Golden Book of Deeds Award for their community service. They have raised five children and have thirteen precious grandchildren.
Mrs. Taney is responsible for all book, textbook, and media material circulation. She works with Mr. Bernini in collection development and collection weeding. She says that she pleases people with lamination projects completed and ID card photos. They are not so pleased with her collection of overdue library material fees and fines. She also says that Granite School District gave her the title of "biblioholic"or one who has the habitual longing to purchase, read, store, admire and consume books in excess!
chnology Specialist. He manages the school library, manages all technology in the building and teaches Televison Broadcasting. What students like best about him is his great sense of humor and his ability to make everyone feel important.
