This course emphasizes the history, achievements and contributions of ancient civilizations and non-Western culture by looking at political,
economic, social, philosophical and religious, scientific and technological, artistic, and architectural aspects of civilizations.


World Studies 2 (grades 10-12) – Semester (7110)
This course includes important developments in history, science, industry and culture of the modern world from the Renaissance to the
present.

American Studies 1 (grades 10-12) – Semester (7300)
This survey course will expand student knowledge of American history from the colonial period through the early twentieth century.


American Studies 2 (grades 10-12) – Semester (7310)
This course concentrates on America’s domestic and foreign roles from the early 1900’s, to the present.

Government and Citizenship (12t h grade) – Semester (7350)
Good citizenship is essential to the preservations of democracy in the United States. By learning the role of a well informed, responsible
