.Mr. Rockwell came to Taylorsville in 1982. He is an excellent teacher. His areas of expertise are in American History and History of the American West. He loves teaching, his family, and participating in rifle competitions on his weekends. (Yes he is related to Porter Rockwell, we think that's where he gets his love for guns and the American West). On the side, he has been in charge of the massive amount of historical preservation that has taken place in Lehi, Utah. Mr. Rockwell is a BYU graduate with a degree in History and Spanish. Before coming to Taylorsville he taught at Duchesne High, at Duchesne Junior High, and he taught an outdoor survival course for the Uinta Basin Juvenile Court and Duchesne School District. Mr. Rockwell has been Chairman of the Historical Preservation Commission for his community and has raised over $500,000 in grants, donations, and fund raising for numerous historical projects and restorations.

 

chnology Specialist. He manages the school library, manages all technology in the building and teaches Televison Broadcasting. What students like best about him is his great sense of humor and his ability to make everyone feel important.
