French 2 (grades 9-12) – Year (3120)
This course continues the development of speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. Narratives and dialogues are used to teach structure and vocabulary. Culture and geography of the native country are taught through reading selections. Prerequisite: French 1 (3110) or equivalent.


French 3 (grades 10-12) – Year (3130)
This course stresses reading, writing, and speaking skills as well as the use of more elaborate grammar structures. Aural comprehension, oral practice, culture and history of a country are emphasized as they relate to the reading program. Prerequisite: French 2 (3120) or equivalent.


French 4 (grades 11-12) – Year (3140)
This course is similar to French 3 but is more advanced. It includes reading literacy excerpts, novels and plays; speaking by preparing talks and participating in class discussions with increased emphasis on conversational ability; writing poems, letters, etc. Prerequisite: French 3 (3130) or equivalent.

Introduction to Travel and Tourism – Semester (2810)
This course focuses on the domestic tourism industry and includes such topics of instruction as transportation, lodging, food service and recreation. Students visit local tourism sites and businesses.


International Travel and Tourism – Semester (2890)
Students learn about world travel in this course. Major world travel destination sites, unique social customs and business etiquette are topics of instruction.
