Mr Knighton came to Taylorsville in 2000. Mr. Knighton has an easy going temperament that makes all students feel welcome and ready to learn. He graduated form Weber State University with a Bachelors Degree in Spanish Language and Literature. He earned a Masters Degree in Spanish and Spanish Literature form the University of Iowa.. Before coming to Taylorsville he taught at the University of Iowa, Farmington Junior High and Granite Park Junior High. Mr. Knighton is the Spanish Club advisor and is the Co-ordinator of Granite Peaks High School located at Taylorsville High. He is also a certified welder, wood worker and cabinet builder. During the summer he builds homes. everyone feel important.
