Apology

An apology is saying you are sorry for a behavior and indicating you will not repeat the behavior in the future. Learning to apologize is important.

An apology is important because you recognize the behavior in yourself that caused the problem. This helps you avoid the problem in the future. You stay in control.

An apology accomplishes things. You give the other person confidence in your ability to handle your problem. When you apologize, you show a willingness to cooperate.

You can get unexpected results with an apology. Sometimes the person responds with a willingness to cooperate.
