• Peer Mediators are students trained in conflict resolutionto assist other students. Two Peer Mediators will call disputing students out of fifth period for 20 minutes. The four students meet. The Peer Mediators will fill out a report of the meeting and results. The report will be turned back to the referring adult.
  • Our Prevention Specialist is the counselor of the Peer Mediators. Ms. Hunter is the faculty members in charge. Students with a concern or problem can have a teacher, counselor, or administrator make a referral by making sure both students agree to mediation process. Referring adult then fills out a form and returns it Ms. Hunter in Room 105.

  • Students interested in being trained to be a Peer Mediater need to see one of the advisors.
  • Two students already trained are Maddi and Hlary. Consult them about procedures.
