School Background
Bonneville Junior High is located on the east side of the Salt Lake Valley. The school boundaries are approximately 9th East to Highland Drive and 6600 South to 4500 South. Through our school bus program, we are able to extend our boundaries to students in the area of 3200 West to 3600 West, between 4700 South and 5400 South. There are approximately 8 buses that bring students to school.
Enrollment
Bonneville Junior has approximately 950 students. 81% are Caucasian 4% are Asian 1% are Indian 12% are Hispanic 1% are Pacific Islanders 1% are African-American.
Computers and Technology
Bonneville Junior has four computer labs and three additional computer classrooms. A computer class is offered, and the lab is open to students after school. Many classes include computer use as part of their curriculum. Bonneville maintains a Scholastic 180 reading lab to boost student's reading skills.
Student Promotion
Students promoted from 9th grade will attend Cottonwood High School.
