It is great to have your student in class!
They need to read 20 minutes a day, Monday through Friday, outside of my class and put it on a reading log. The reading logs are available in class and can be picked up weekly. They can read anything for that twenty minutes.
We work on vocabulary, comprehension, fluency, and phonics in this class. If they miss a class period they should pick up work to make-up for the missed time.
