Physical Education Classes

Freshmen P.E.
This semester course provides instruction aimed at improving or maintaining physical fitness, and the introduction to fitness, and techniques. The course also is designed to develop further participation skills in a variety of team and individual games, dance, and activities. The emphasis is on leadership, sportsmanship, respect for officials, decisions and rules.

8th Grade P.E.
This Physical Education class is offered daily each semester. It teaches and develops advanced techniques of individual, dual, and team sport, with emphasis on sportsmanship, fair play, a spirit of competition, leadership, cooperation, and a sense of personal worth.

8th Grade Health
Health is a semester course required of all 8th Grade students. Instruction in personal health covers the following topics: positive and negative life styles; growth, development and maturation, disease, nutrition and decision making.
