(the baby class), Food and Fitness, and CTE (for 7th grade students). Ms. Monk attended Riverside College, BYU, and the University of Utah at Riverside. Diana Peterson - Business, Computers, & CTE
Diana Peterson has taught at Hunter Junior for seven years now. She teaches CTE, Keyboarding/Word Processing, and Computer Technology. She was formerly a
Post- Secondary Teacher, High School Teacher, and a Media Specialist for
two elementary schools. She loves what she does and enjoys the students that she
teaches: "There is always something to learn from them." She attended Montana State University where she started studying Home Economics but changed her major to business. She lived in Hawaii for a time. After she returned to Utah from Hawaii, she decided to teach elementary school, obtained a media endorsement, and managed two elementary libraries for five years (Fremont and Oakridge). As a junior high school student, she attended Great Falls East Junior High, where her favorite subject was Home Ec. If she could change anything about her junior high school years, she would pay more attention in class (instead of looking at all the boys). Her favorite author is Gerald Lund. She enjoys British mystery movies because they are less violent than the American ones. While not a big television fan, Ms. Peterson has lately been following Kitchen Nightmares. She has been married for 37 years and has
three grown children and eight grandchildren. And of course, the most important member of the family is a golden retriever named Tanner.
