Text Box: It is difficult these days to pick up a newspaper or watch the television news without hearing about the difficult economic situation. As you have probably heard, the economy is effecting our public schools and Granite School District is no different. While the outlook can appear to be bleak, I want our parents to know that we are doing everything we can to minimize the impact for students at HJH. We are working hard and being successful in providing most, if not all, of the fine programs we have always offered. All students will be taking tests that cover the curriculum for their math, English and science classes. It is important that students do their very best on these tests and we encourage parents to support their student and the school in this testing program. Ensuring a good night’s sleep and providing a healthy breakfast is extremely helpful in allowing students to perform at their best. Attending every school day is also important during these weeks of testing. We appreciate your support during this time.
