Text Box: Spring is on its way and that means it is a very busy time for us at Hunter Junior. We have started our pre-registration process with all grades. After a very successful Hawk’s Showcase, where you and your student could get a taste of all we offer here and as they continue into high school, students should be prepared to make class choice decisions. We take all the course requests from students and use the information to create a master schedule for the upcoming year.
Another spring event is the criterion referenced testing (CRT). These are an important measure of how each individual Text Box: student has progressed in math, science and English, as well as a measure of how we are dong instructionally as a school. Please be sure your student attends during the CRT time.
Spring parent-teacher conferences also were very successful. We had a good turn out of parents wanting to visit with teachers to check on their student’s achievement. Our teachers truly appreciate the interest parents show in their children’s education. They enjoy visiting with all of you.
So, enjoy your spring and make sure to keep informed as to all the other activities we will be participating in. Your Text Box: support is truly appreciated!
