Coach Fedderson's Report:

November 19, 2009

The Boy's Basketball Team defeated Kearns Jr. at home on Wed. Nov. 18 by a score of 51 -30. The boys executed a perfect game plan both on defense and offense. They were able to break the Kearn's full court press every time they ran it, and were patient in getting the best shots on offense. Their 2-3 defense and man-to-man defense pretty much shut down the Kearns offense.

The Boy's Basketball Team lost a heartbreaker to Kennedy at Kennedy. After leading most of the game up to the 3 minute mark, Hunter lost to Kennedy in the closing minutes due to an unprecedented series of four 3-point shots by Kennedy to win 64-60.   The JV won their game 42-31.

The Boy's Varsity Basketball team won their first game Thur. Nov. 12 at home against Brockbank Jr. High; the score was 53 - 44. It was a tough battle, with the lead going back and forth through three quarters. In the fourth quarter, Hunter played tough on defense and pulled away to give the hawks the victory. The J.V. won their game 31-21, with the same kind of effort.
