Mary Carling- Assistant Principal
Ms Carling, Assistant Pricipal, was an intern assistant principal at Eisenhower Junior High and prior to that was a counselor at Matheson Junior High for three years and Bonneville Junior High for six years. She is a former special education teacher. She has 7 children and 13 grandchildren. Her children have graduated from all three major universitites in the state. Ms Carling says she tries to be neutral during football season, but she is an Aggie at heart. She loves being at Hunter Junior High because parent take an interest in their students' education,, and are supportive of Hunter Junior High's policies. She feels the students here are exceptional.

Shirlene Teigen - Principal's Secretary
Ms. Teigen attended Brigham Young University where she studied Business Management. She was born in Ogden, Utah and has lived in Utah all her life. Her childhood hobbies and activities included: Bicycly riding, playing chess, playing the piano, crocheting, knitting, and embroidery. As a junior high school student, Ms Teigen attended Kaysville Junior High where her favorite subjects were math and English. Her favorite television shows are: I Love Lucy, The Andy Griffiths Show, The Amazing Race, and Dancing with the Stars.

Ms. Yeates has attended both Utah State University and Stevens Hanager College where she studied, in her own word, "Secretarial stuff." As a junior high school student, she attended Brockbank Junior where her favorite subject was journalism. She enjoys playing softball and golf. Her advice for our students: Be good -- study hard -- do your best.

Debra Orton - Lunch Secretary
Ms. Orton has worked at Hunter Junior for the last 14 years, in various capacities. She has been ISS/ASD aide, attendance specialist, and employment specialist. She attended Brigham Young University, studying General Education. She worked for the FBI in Washington D.C. for a year during the Watergate era. Her first child was born there. As a junior high school student, she attended Westlake Junior where her favorite subject was geography. She also enjoyed roller skating and bike riding as a teenager. She is married with six children and 9 grandchildren. Her favorites are: book, The Storm Testament; author, Lee Nelson; movie, While You Were Sleeping; television show, Funniest Home Videos; singer, Josh Grobin; sport, four-wheeling; color, red (but she is a true-blue BYU fan); and food, anything chocolate.
