The Hunter Junior High Counseling and Guidance Center is open on all regular school days from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm.
Students and parents may contact a counselor via phone, email, or call the Counseling Center for general information during normal business hours.

Graduation Requirements
The following is a list of credits that are required to complete in order to graduate from a Granite District High School, grades 9-12. Students must complete the requirements and have a total of 27 credits to graduate.

English 4 Years
Social Studies 3 Years (Geography, World Studies, American Studies & American Government)
.5 Civics
Mathematics 3 Years Algebra I or above (for those planning to attend a University one more year is required)
Science 3 Years (i.e., Earth Systems & Biology)
Physical Education 1.5 Years (9th, 10th-Life Fit., & .50 other)
Health .5 Year (10th grade)
Fine Arts 1.5 Years (i.e., Drawing, Photo, Theatre, Music)
Educational Technology .5 Computer Tech to be taken in 9th or 10th grade
Applied Technology Education 1.0 Year (i.e., Woods, Foods, Business, Tech Lab)
General Finance Literacy .5 to be taken in 11th or 12th grade
Electives 8.00 Yearly Credits
Total 27.00 Yearly Credits
9th - 6.00, 10th - 7.00, 11th - 7.00, 12th - 7.00 = 27.00 Total Credits
*If a full-time student enrolls in seminary each of the 4 years in high school, the student must pass and complete each quarter of credit to be on-line to graduate.
