Karel Nelson - 7th Grade
I was born and raised on a little farm west of Payson, Utah.  My parents taught me the value of hard work and finding joy in simple things.  I helped care for and feed our horse, numerous cattle, my pet rabbit and a few cats.  I played volleyball, basketball and ran track in high school.  I was also a student body officer and sang in the choir.  I attended one semester of college in Hawaii and then lived for 16 months in Ecuador as a missionary for my church.  My first job, after graduating from college, was as a bilingual, third-grade teacher in Southern California.  Upon returning to Utah I taught at Stansbury Elementary while I completed my Masters Degree in School Counseling.  I worked as a counselor at Granite Park Junior High, Stansbury Elementary and currently at Hunter Junior.  I enjoy being at HJH.  The faculty members are amazing and the students are awesome.  I enjoy their energy and their ability to make me laugh.  Life is good.

I was born in Ogden, Utah and have lived in 5 states and 15 cities. I attended BYU. I married Chuck Lowry in 1964, and we had four children, 3 boys and 1 girl. Chuck passed away in 1989. I married Bob Brady in 1992. Together we have 13 grandchildren. I worked at Farnsworth Elementary for 9 years, and at Hunter Jr. for 18 years. I love music, nature, decorating, gardening and being with my family.

I really enjoy working at Hunter Junior High. I think the students are great!

I was born in Nevada, but I have lived in Utah most of my life. I'm married and have 3 children and one grandchild.
I love working at Hunter Junior High. The people here are wonderful to work with!
