What time is school out? What time do the students get out of school on Friday? |
School is let out at 2:45 Monday-Thursday, and 12:40 on Friday. |
What are the school hours? |
Students are allowed to be in the commons area from 7:00 am until 7:30 am. Students must exit the building by 3:10 pm. |
What are the vacation days? When is Parent-Teacher Conference? When do the students have time off? |

Do I have to come in to sign my student out? |

How do I find out about my student's grades or attendance? |
Student Progress can be viewed through Granite School District's Student Login, using your student's ID number, and a PIN number. If you need help, click here. |

What do I do if my student fails a class? |
The first thing you should do is contact the teacher. You may also want to work with your student's counselor. |
How do I contact the school, and who do I contact for different things? |
For lunch money, fees and fee waivers, administrators, teacher messages or contacts, ISS/ASD, dress code, student IDs, contact the Administration Office (685-5184). For class changes, student personal support, new student registration & transfers, lost and found items, contact the Counseling Center (685-5186). |
How do I transfer my kids to Hunter Junior High? |
You need to bring your student's birth certificate, document showing proof of address, check out form from previous school, and immunization records to the Counseling Center, where your child can be registered. |
Would you get a message to my student? |
Important messages can be taken and delivered to your student through the Counseling Center. |
How much for registration fees? |

Why can't my student bring a cell phone, etc.? |

Where is the Lost and Found? |
Your lost items may be found in the Counseling Center. If you find something, please turn it in to the Counseling Center. |
My niece is here from out of town. Why can't she come to school with my daughter? |
School policy does not allow students who are not registered at HJH to attend school. |

What do I do if my student won't come to school? |
You can contact the school's police officer, Nick Cook, through the Administration Office (685-5184). |
