 Miss Herrin's Class Schedule
Geometry
In geometry 8th and 9th grade students will extend on previously learned algebra and geometry concepts including two and three dimensional figures, perimeter, area, volume, congruence, and similarity. They will also develop reasoning skills in writing conditionals, making conjectures, and writing simple proofs.
Algebra 9
In algebra 9th grade students will extend concepts they learned in pre-algebra. They will learn to solve multi-step equations, graph linear equations, and write equations that describe graphs, tables, and word situations. They will also be introduced to polynomials including mulitplying and factoring them.
Pre-algebra 7
In pre-algebra 7th grade students will build on the mathematical skills they learned in elementary school. They will learn more about rational numbers, percents, perimeter, area, volume, and statistical graphs. They will be introduced to basic algebra concepts including combining like terms and solving simple equations.
