Events and Activities

500 Books!
Students will fill out a book card for every book they read this semester. Turn them in to your advisory teacher or drop them off at the library. Our goal is to have 500 books read by the end of the semester. We will display all the cards on the panels outside the library doors. A competition will be held between advisory classes. The class that reads the most (based on percentage of students to books) will get a reward at the end of the semester. We will also have a prize for the student that reads the most books.

Library Lunch Reading Program
L lunch time is a great opportunity for students to come down to the library and read without distraction. Students are welcome to come down Monday through Friday. We have a specialist here on Wednesdays and Thursdays to help students with reading skills and help them find books they’re interested in. We will also hold booktalks, book reviews, and book clubs in the near future.
