is involved in paper recycling. Please bring your paper
products (newspaper, office &
school paper, magazines, junk mail, phone books) and broken
down cardboard
to the bins in the Northwest
corner
of the teachers' parking lot.

Crusader of the Month Form
|

The Crusader of the Month is a Kennedy tradition that honors the finest students at Kennedy. The committee (consisting of four teachers) puts nomination forms in the teachers' mailboxes once a month. Teachers nominate students who have a 3.5 or higher and a CPA of 3.5 or higher. Students nominated receive a questionnaire to fill out and return to the committee by an assigned date. The Crusader of the Month committee meets and goes over the student questionnaire, the teacher nominations and their grades. A Crusader is then chosen from each grade level. All students nominated are acknowledged. The final three receive an award. Their photo with a biography is displayed in the main hall. Their photo will be forever in the halls of Kennedy on the yearly Crusader Panel mural produced by the Advanced Art students. In May we have a banquet for these students and their parents. The two guest speakers are former Crusaders from ten years back. It is a wonderful opportunity to acknowledge the fine students we teach.
