7. The staff at Matheson Junior High recognizes the importance of teaching the five values recommended by the Community of Caring and support them by advising, discussing and modeling the appropriate behaviors.
8. A student’s self-esteem is enhanced by positive relationships and mutual respect among and between students and staff.
9. Alternative programs are an integral part of Matheson Junior High, and are necessary in order to meet the needs of all students.
